“Yura was an extremely cheerful and bright person. He loved life and active leisure with his family. His loss is very difficult for us. We still can’t believe that we won’t see our dearest anymore. Our entire family loves and is proud of Yuriy. We all waited for him to come home alive, but unfortunately, he gave the most precious thing he had – his life, for us, for peace, for a free Ukraine, having many unrealized dreams and plans,” said his wife Aliona.
The Hero was buried in Kruchentsi village in Zhytomyr Oblast.
At home, Yuriy’s parents Larisa and Mykola, wife Aliona, son Artem, and sister Liudmyla were waiting for him.
