Soldier Vitaliy Kholodyuk was killed on November 6, 2023, in the Bahmut sector of Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained fatal shrapnel wounds. The warrior was 33 years old.
Vitaliy was born and lived in the city of Khmelnytskyi. He graduated from Khmelnytskyi National University and worked as a laborer. He was passionate about cars and football. He tried to spend all his free time with his son.
During the full-scale war, in August 2023, Vitaliy was called up to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in the United Kingdom and later held the position of UAV operator in the 77th separate airborne brigade.
“He was the kindest person, a loving father, the only son, a brother with a bright smile,” said the cousin of the deceased, Nadiya Baranova.
The defender was buried at the Alley of Glory in Khmelnytskyi city.
At home, Vitaliy’s parents, son, other relatives, and friends were waiting for him.
