Paratrooper Grigory Pavlov, call sign Florist, was killed on September 24, 2023, in a battle with occupiers near the village of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia region. He received fatal injuries as a result of enemy artillery shelling. The defender was 35 years old.
Grigory Oleksandrovych was born in the city of Mykolaiv. He had secondary education. He lived with his family in the village of Riv in Vinnytsia region. From the age of 16, he worked as a florist and greatly enjoyed working with flowers. After having children, he devoted most of his free time to his family, which he valued above all.
During the full-scale Russian invasion, Grigory was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After training, he joined the 82nd Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. He held the position of deputy commander of the combat vehicle, gunner-operator of the unit.
“He was fair, kind, always ready to help everyone. A caring father, a faithful friend, the best husband,” said the wife of the deceased.
Grigory was buried in the village of Riv in Vinnytsia region.
At home, the defender was awaited by his mother, Angela Petrovna, wife Nadiya, daughter Alina (born in 2014), and son Dmytro (born in 2022).
