Senior soldier Alexander Lyuty was killed on August 29, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the city of Siversk, in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. The defender was 30 years old.
Alexander was born in the town of Mykhailivka in the Zaporizhzhia region. He lived in the village of Novovolodymyrivka. He received secondary education and worked as a construction worker. He was interested in technology and fishing, but he loved to spend most of his free time with his family.
In 2016, he enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the ATO/OOS (Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation). During the full-scale war, he fought for his country in the ranks of the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Mazepa. Together with his comrades, he defended the Eastern front.
“He was a good person and loved his family very much,” said the deceased’s mother, Iryna Volodymyrivna.
The warrior was buried at the Kushuhumske cemetery near Zaporizhzhia.
Alexander is survived by his parents, sister, wife, and son.
